Cranberry Orange Granola

I’m sure you have your own favorite granola recipe. However, I wanted to share mine. Because 9 out of 10 people who were never asked said this was the best granola recipe for the holidays. I love the cranberry orange flavor combination as well as the fact that this quick and healthy recipe uses whole food ingredients like coconut oil and maple syrup.

You may want to double this recipe – some for you and some for gift giving!

Granola Breakfast for Two

This really would be the perfect gift to bring if you are staying as someone’s house guest. Buy a 4 pack of frappuccinos because the bottles make the cutest packaging. Paint the four pack box white. Fill it with two frappuccinos, then fill one empty and clean frappuccino bottle with milk and fill one bottle with granola. Breakfast for two! Frappuccinos gross you out? Instead of two frappuccinos, fill one bottle with coffee beans and the other one with yogurt. Or make up a batch of my favorite granola and one of your favorite granola. Let your recipient decide what flavor they love.

  1. Not only is this recipe delectable, it’s now on my list of things to make. I love your gift giving idea as well! So clever!

I’d love it if you came over and saw mine. :)

  2. This has amazing taste but mine didn’t clump together. Did I domsomething wrong.

  3. Sheryll, I’m glad you liked the taste! :) Mine wasn’t very clumpy either. If you like a clumpier granola, I’d play with the coconut oil and maple syrup ratios. Maybe a little more maple syrup and less coconut oil. Let me know if that works for you. Andrea

  4. This looks wonderful! I can’t say I’ve ever had orange granola. I can see how it would make a wonderful Christmas gift. I’m going to pin it to my Christmas board. Will def have to try this one.

  5. I love it when I get pinned ~ thank you Nancy. I hope you will try it – and let me know what you think. It changes flavor a bit depending on if you use butter (which I did this time) or coconut oil. I can’t really decide which is my favorite. :) Andrea

  6. Hey, this is a lot like my Cranberry Orange Granola recipe, which I posted on my blog in Jan. 2011.

Did you happen to see it or did you just happen to think up almost exactly the same recipe?

  7. Nope. I’ve never seen your site before. I think granola is actually a pretty common recipe with people putting their own spin on them. I also add sunflower seeds or coconut flake when I have them and I love to vary the coconut oil or the butter.
