Confession time. I eat chocolate everyday. That’s right. Every. Day. So, I consider myself a bit of an expert.
When I was asked to review Sjaak’s Organic Chocolate, I knew I was up to the challenge.
What I didn’t know was how I would swoon just at the sight of the box!
Isn’t it amazing? And what’s more? It’s made in Thailand by a women’s cooperative that uses tree fibers such as mulberry to create such exquisite boxes. The box was so special, I was hoping the chocolates would be to.
The chocolates? To. Die. For. They truly did not disappoint. Sweet dark chocolate. Buttery Caramel. All 100% organic. All 100% Fair Trade. Chocolate with a social conscience. I’ve got a new passion – Sjaak. If only I knew how to pronounce it!
These are just a few out of my box. I had a little trouble keeping everyone away from such deliciousness to take a photo!

My sweet departed mother used to make chocolate-covered coconut balls every winter as holiday gifts. Each was a little bite of heaven. As of last winter, I’ve taken over the tradition — and it’s still my favorite kind of candy. But I love pretty much anything chocolate.
Definitely easy to answer — CHOCOLATE of any kind!
My favorite candy is dark chocolate… and from a local chocolate shop is even better!
