Staples List

These are the best staples to stockpile! They are the ingredients you can go to again and again for a last minute meal. When there are good coupons on any of these items,  I know I’ll want to buy extra papers or print as many coupons as I can, to get extra of these items at rock bottom prices. These are the go-to ingredients I’ll be using to make the recipes I post here on The Greenbacks Gal. When I say very little money, I mean it! Check out how little I spent when stockpiling ingredients on my staples list and if you are a Costco shopper, you’ll want to see my Costco price list for staples items.

*Brownie mixes are my addition to the classic list. I find brownies are the key to successful potlucks, bake sales and sleepovers. I’m never without!

**If I don’t know how to cook a cut of meat, I don’t buy it. There is nothing quick and easy about not knowing what to do with something. Plus, I only want to purchase items I know my family will enjoy.
