The three main Sunday paper inserts are abbreviated as follows:
SS – Abbreviation for Smart Source.
RP – Abbreviation for Red Plum.
P&G – Abbreviation for Procter & Gamble
Other Coupon Abbreviations:
BOGO – Buy One Get One FREE
RR – Register Reward (applies to Walgreens only)
YMMV – Your mileage may vary. Meaning you may/may not be able to do the deal dependent on individual store policy.
Coupon Terms:
Catalina – Coupon printed at register
Peelie – Coupon you peel off a package
Tear Pad – A pad of coupons near a product where you tear one coupon off per product purchased
Stacking – Allowing the use of one store coupon AND one manufacturer’s coupon

How do I find back- dated smart source inserts/coupons
Molly, Are you talking about trying to maybe buy old inserts? Or just a particular coupon? You can try eBay or The Coupon Clippers. You will need to pay for what they call a “time and clipping fee”. Let me know if this doesn’t answer your question. Andrea
