- 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 3/4 cup milk (cow's, soy, or almond)
- honey to taste
- Dissolve matcha green tea powder in hot water and stir vigorously until frothy.
- Heat milk just until hot. If you have one, use a frother to whip the milk until foamy.
- Remove from heat.
- Add milk to tea and stir in honey to taste.
I don’t limit my lattes to just the morning. If I know I’ll have an afternoon that requires running the kids to and fro and here and there, I like to brew up a Matcha Green Tea Latte in a to-go cup to keep me going.
