PeopleTowels: Giveaway and Review

UPDATE: THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED
People Towel Sustain Design

I’ve been carrying around a PeopleTowel for about a month now. At first I thought it was simply just a great way to go green and reduce paper waste. However, I have found a PeopleTowel is actually an indispensable item I’m not sure how I ever lived without. That might sound a bit over the top, but I’m dead on serious. I’d put keeping a PeopleTowel in my purse right up there with keeping lip balm and safety pins. All things I don’t want to be without because of how handy they are when you need them!

So what are PeopleTowels? PeopleTowels are highly absorbent 100% organic B.Y.O. Towels. They are compact size to easily fit in a purse, backpack, or lunchbox.

As I said, I thought I would love them just because they are a step toward sustainability. Then I discovered how much I have enjoyed having one in my purse. Take this for example:

Sinks in warehouse

My girls play volleyball in a warehouse. These are the community sinks at the back of a court. That means if you use the restroom, you come out and wash your hands right in the line of flying volleyballs. As if this wasn’t rough enough, do you see a paper towel dispenser? Hand dryer? Not there. There is a hand dryer, but it’s on a post – right next to the court. I’ve loved having my PeopleTowel with me so I can limit any time I have to spend here.

Then, as I’ve shared before, I pick a purse for only one reason:

9 Run Errands

The ability to hold a drink. I cart water, coffee or tea with me everywhere I go. As a result, I visit more public restrooms – and clean up more spills – than I’d like to admit. With PeopleTowels I no longer get frustrated with dirty bathrooms that aren’t stocked with paper towels (ahem. hello Safeway.), busy bathrooms where you have to wait to get a towel (like the movie theater after a showing of New Year’s Eve), or when my cup runneth over, and I need a handy way to wipe up spills.

In case I haven’t convinced you, I am giving one away, so one lucky winner can try a PeopleTowel too. Not just because if 1 in 4 adults in the US switched to PeopleTowels we could save enough trees to cover the state of Alaska. No. I want to give someone else a chance to try these to see how much they will appreciate them.

1. To enter, just leave me a comment and tell me which you’d rather not use: wasteful paper towels or drying electric hand dryers.
