Did you know that as of this posting there are only 98 days until Christmas? It might seem like a long time, but as we all know the holidays will be here before we know it! Has your family adopted their very own elf yet?
I was totally taken by Elf on the Shelf last year. Your elf arrives to be the eyes and ears of Santa. He watches to see who is being naughty, and who is being nice, then he reports back to Santa every night.
I plan to give my own girls an elf this year at Thanksgiving (even though they are teens now!) I’m also giving the book and doll to my nieces and nephews at Thanksgiving. I’ll be taking pictures of our elf throughout the holidays & my hope is my nieces and nephews in turn will send me pictures back of where they found their elf in the morning. They might live far away, but I’m hoping this way we can still share in a Christmas tradition together!
Here’s where can you buy Elf on the Shelf now:
First check out the pricing on The Elf on the Shelf here. You will frequently find the best prices and selection.
However, you can price compare it to this The Elf on the Shelf. They don’t tend to run sales/promotions as often.
Finally, you can usually find The Elf on the Shelf at Target. However, it is a seasonal item, so it is only available starting in the Fall.
I’m sure these won’t arrive in stores for several weeks, and last year I know they were hard to keep in stock. Consider ordering early so you don’t miss out on all the fun!
Still unfamiliar with what the heck Elf on the Shelf does? Or are you looking for some Elf on the Shelf ideas? Check out my Pinterest board! I’ve been collecting fun ways to pose my elf each morning.
